The Dirty Life

A cover design for the 2nd edition of Kristin Kimball's book The Dirty Life published by Portobello Books. The book is an autobiography following Kristin's move away from New York to set up a farm with a man she falls in love with.

Having really enjoyed the book I wanted to try and create something which captured Kristin's joy and passion. I also spent a lot of time researching the breeds of farm animals featured in the book, so that the cover was accurate to the story.
